Your Role:
As a Mental Health Nurse, you will be an essential part of a leading healthcare provider known for its commitment to excellence. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to contribute to the overall mental well-being of patients.
About You:
Minimum of 3 years in Australia as an RN.
Specialisation in Mental Health Nursing.
Proven experience in mental health nursing, demonstrating a solid understanding of best practices.
Current and ongoing registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
Proficient in general nursing practices, emergency care, and mental health support.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Knowledge of relevant healthcare regulations and guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough mental health assessments and formulate individualised care plans.
Deliver high-quality nursing care to individuals with a range of mental health conditions.
Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Provide therapeutic interventions and support to promote recovery and resilience.
Administer medications and monitor their effects, collaborating with the prescribing team.
Document patient progress accurately and maintain confidential medical records.
Participate in the development and implementation of mental health programs and initiatives.
Contribute to a supportive and therapeutic environment for patients and their families.
Stay abreast of the latest developments in mental health nursing practices.
