PERSONAL CARE ASSISTANT (Residential & Home Care)


  • Part-Time / Casual Position

  • Melbourne Western Suburbs

  • Work Close To Home (Various Locations)


Residential: As a Personal Care Assistant (PCA) you will provide excellent care to our clients' residents. Your compassionate personality and positive attitude will assist you in providing an optimal level of dignity, comfort and quality of life for our care recipients.


Home Care: Our clients' home care workers, which are called direct care workers, help clients to remain living in their own homes for as long as they wish by providing in-home assistance including personal care, domestic assistance, meals, companionship, respite, shopping and transport.


What you bring:


  • Certificate III in Aged Care or Certificate III in Individual Support.

  • Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience in Aged Care or Disability.

  • Availability to work AM and PM shifts weekdays and weekends.

  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to older people and their families.

  • Ability to understand and implement resident care plans.

  • Able to demonstrate flexibility to workplace demands and a teamwork attitude.

  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality in all matters.

  • Ability to identify problems and a clear understanding of when to alert immediate supervisors.

  • Pro-active and dedicated approach to deliver best practice care.

  • Demonstrated time management and multi-tasking skills.
