As an experienced and highly motivated Registered Nurse (RN), you will play a vital role in residential aged care service management, planning, and delivery of services. Supported by the Facility Manager, you will provide evidence-based nursing care for residents by the developed care plan.
What you bring:
Clinical Expertise: A strong foundation in nursing skills, knowledge and experience.
Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience as a Registered Nurse.
Compassion and Empathy: The ability to connect with and provide emotional support to residents and their families.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team.
Critical Thinking and Problem-Solving: The capacity to analyze complex situations, make sound decisions, and prioritize care based on residents' needs.
Teamwork and Collaboration: The ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Documentation and Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail and proficiency in maintaining accurate experience as a Registered Nurse.
Previous experience working in an “In charge” capacity.
Current and ongoing registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
Able to work all shifts including night shifts.
Commitment to the philosophy of a person-centered approach to providing care and services.
Working knowledge of Accreditation Standards, Aged Care funding, and Aged Care legislation.
High-level leadership and people management skills.
